  • WHAT IS SANFORIZED, ANYWAY?

    We are so glad you asked! When we say “sanforized”, you say “preshrunk”! Ready? “Sanforized!” (Now you go). All of our products are preshrunk, which means they won’t shrink to Barbie- or Ken-sized when you throw it in the dryer. That being said, Pima Cotton is still cotton, so if you wash and dry on your Dante’s Inferno heat setting, they could shrink 2-3%.

  • What is your shipping policy?

    Order over $100 and shipping is free! Under $100, you can choose to pay for USPS standard shipping or Fedex Rush Overnight. Sending your items back for recycling is on us.

  • How quickly do you ship?

    If an order is placed on a weekday before 10am EST, the order will normally be fulfilled the same day. If the order is placed on a weekday after 10am EST, the order will be fulfilled the next business day. If the order is placed Friday after 10am EST or on a weekend, the order will be fulfilled the next business day.

  • HOW DOES YOUR CIRCULAR SAVINGS PROGRAM WORK?

    We love going big, but we’ll keep this one easy:

    - BUY: You pick your favorite, buy it, and it arrives on your doorstep.

    - WEAR: Wear them how you want them, and wear them out. Science suggests people replace understuff every six months. That sounds about right, but we’re not the boss of you.

    - RECYCLE: When you've worn your TBF out, scan the QR on your garment label or visit our Rewards page to send your worn out understuff back to us to be recycled into new yarn.

    - REWARDS: When we receive it, we’ll confirm your Circular Savings. Think of it as a forever discount.

  • IS THIS A SUBSCRIPTION AND/OR DO YOU SEND ME THINGS AUTOMATICALLY?

    We’re not a subscription service, meaning you’re the boss. We don’t send you anything unless you’ve ordered it (although maybe “surprise underwear” will become a thing??)

  • WHEN I’M READY FOR A REFRESH, IS SHIPPING FREE?

    Shipping is never “free” per se, but TBF covers shipping on your Circular Savings Returns, so it’s free to you!

  • ARE YOU SENDING ME BRAND NEW PRODUCTS EVERY TIME I ORDER?

    Yep! Everything you receive from TBF is hot off the production line. Items that are returned to us to be Recycled are turned into new yarn. We solemnly swear you’ll never receive an item that someone else has worn.

  • WHEN DO I NEED TO SEND BACK MY NEW FAVORITE UNDERSTUFF?

    The world is your oyster. Science and surveys suggest people replace their understuff every six months. That sounds about right to us, but we’re not the boss of you. Or maybe it’s never! But we hope you come back to divert your understuff from landfills and treat yourself to a refresh!

  • WHAT DO YOU DO WITH MY UNDERSTUFF WHEN I SEND IT BACK?

    We put it in a museum, with your name labeled underneath it. JK. JK. We’re not crazy, just crazy about Circularity. Everything is anonymous to our warehouse where we sort the recaptured understuff, sanitize it, and partner with textile recyclers to turn it into new fabrics.

  • WHAT IF MY SWAP IS SUPER GROSS?

    A mission set in eliminating trash and waste means we’re used to seeing some dirt. It’s sort of our thing. When you’re ready to recycle your TBF, we’ll take your item(s) back in any condition. Our basics are meant to wear all day, every day, meaning they’ll see some sh**. That being said, we do ask that you launder your understuff once more before returning for a Refresh (thanks in advance).

  • WILL YOU TAKE MY SWAP BACK IF I’VE CUT IT, EMBROIDERED IT, OR ALTERED IT SOMEHOW?

    For sure! So long as there is no polyester added to the garment, we will be able to recycle it in our normal process. If you’re unsure, send away. We’ll figure it out from there. We gotchu.

  • WHAT IF MY UNDERSTUFF DOESN'T FIT, AND I NEED TO EXCHANGE IT?

    See our full Return Policy right below these FAQs. TLDR; due to the sanitized nature of our products and our supply chain, we can’t accept returns that have been taken out of their packaging (unless of course you are exchanging for a Reward in our Circular Savings Program). We’re sure there’s someone in your life who could use a brand spankin’ new, super soft, surprise pair of undies or a tee! So pay it forward then shoot us an email at support@thebigfavorite.com and we’ll work with you on getting you your proper size.

  • WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MADE?

    We work with suppliers in Peru who pay fair wages, and fabric suppliers who use innovative processes to clean and reuse old water for future fabric washing.

  • DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    Not yet, but we are working on that. Long story short, logistics get quite tricky once you start shipping across the pond(s).

  • What methods of payment can I use to buy all this great understuff?

    You can checkout with all the following forms of payment; Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

  • Can I add to an order I've already placed?

    Unfortunately we can’t turn back time (cue: Cher) to amend the contents of an order once it’s placed. If you want something else, we recommend simply placing a new order for it.

  • Can I change my address after I’ve already placed an order, or cancel the order altogether?

    Yes, but you must make the change or indicate the request to cancel immediately and it must be during the normal business hours of customer service so they can execute your request (M-F, 10am to 5pm PST), otherwise you run the risk of your order being fulfilled and shipped out.   • What if I like something that’s out of stock? Do you re-stock items? Is there a waitlist?

    It depends on the item. If an item is sold out, we will put together a waitlist to determine if a restock is necessary. You can always email us at support@thebigfavorite.com and we will keep you updated.

  • DOES THIS REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

    YES! Real change starts with a strong foundation and strong roots.   • WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

    We are passionate about continuous improvement through creative problem-solving, which is why we are on a transparent mission to improve our own processes and supply chain. 

    Whether it’s eliminating non-biodegradable elastic in our products or implementing a better process to reduce our carbon footprint (or, something we haven’t thought of yet), we are passionate about continuous improvement. Return Policy

Apparel's (and most consumer goods companies') dirty little secret is the return process. You see, most of the time, returns can't be resold so they're simply thrown away, adding to the massive waste problem we're facing in the world today.

That's why we don't accept any returns on our first layers (tees, tanks, turtlenecks and underwear) if the box is open or the box seal is broken, unless there is an extenuating circumstance.

That said, we do accept returns on our Reworked-Wear Collection. To return an item from our Reworked-Wear Collection, you must request a return within 14 days of original shipment date, and actually return the item(s) within 21 days of the original shipment date. To request a return, email us at support@thebigfavorite.com. These returns will incur a $15 restocking fee to cover the cost of shipping and green drycleaning.
